Living on an Island
Let's assume for a moment that I was going to buy an island, claim it as it's own country and allow only five people, including myself, to inhabit it. The kicker being that the people who inhabit it must bring to the island some sort of useable skill or profession. (i.e doctor, extensive knowledge or government, etc.)
What skill would you posses or learn to get on said island? Also, do you think that such a thing could work should the right people with the right skills inhabit said island or would it fail as a country? Is it really plausibe to think that only five people could occupy and run an island as a country?
Let me know your thoughts.

Have you ever read Lord of the Flies? I think that would happen. Especially with only five people.
@CoconutPalapa - Never read it. What happens?
Really?? It's a high school staple! Anyway a whole bunch of kids get stranded on this island and they're civil behaviour goes right out the window. They start acting tribal and "uncivilized" and violent, running around in loin cloths with crude spears. They kill a sow, cut her head off and mount it on a stick and one of the boys starts hallucinating and talking to the sow's head.
The book is actually pretty good. Check it out: Lord of the Flies by William Golding.
@CoconutPalapa - Wow, I am going to have to pick this book up!
Yeah some Lit. classes read that book and some read the great Gatsby. I was in the Gatsby one. I hated that book with a passion. lol
